In contemporary China, the contradictions become increasingly prominent between economicdevelopment and energy consumption, environmental pollution. Printing and dyeing enterprises asone of key energy-consuming industries, its survival and development has encounteredunprecedented challenges. On the one hand, the Government is actively promoting energyconservation, building a resource-saving and environment-friendly society background, some ofthe energy consumption of non-compliance of printing and dyeing enterprises are faced withgovernment departments to increase the risk of punishment. On the other hand, with the risinginternational energy prices, itself as a labor-intensive, low-margin printing companies also face thereality of the plight of survival. Haida Dyeing Co., Ltd. Xiangshan County is facing such severepressure, begin to actively explore an effective energy management, to optimize energymanagement within the enterprise, improve energy efficiency, and improving economic and socialbenefits, improve the competitiveness of enterprises.Benchmarking of the1990s one of the three management methods, as a learning experience,advanced systems, scientific and efficient way, in business management has been widely used.Benchmarking the energy efficiency as a branch of benchmarking, the strengthening of enterpriseenergy management has a positive effect.First, the papers on benchmarking and benchmarking energy efficiency at home and abroadthe origin, development and application process were literature review, then the paper onbenchmarking the energy efficiency of the theory elaborated.
