In the era of globalization, the international discourse power related to the nationalinterests is favored by more and more countries around the world.1970s, the Frenchphilosopher Michel Foucault put forward the concept of "power words". The right tospeak to non-violent, non-coercive manner, through the use of language or verbal skillsinfluence others thought or behavior. The international discourse power is the right tospeak in the international extension. It is expressed as international actors in theinternational community’s ability to set up, operation ability, influence public opinionand so on. The international discourse power on the nature of the dispute is the nationalinterest of the dispute. It is the product of country’s hard power and soft power.Theinternational discourse power in an increasingly competitive international communityoccupy an important position.The United States in this international competition of the international discoursepower not only is their own advantage, more important is the role of the U.S. media.Media for the United States win the international credibility, influence, and governmentauthorities tacit cooperation. The important way that United States won the internationaldiscourse power in is Media. The American International have an important referencesignificance for us，that won the international discourse powerEnhancing the international discourse power is China integrating into theinternational community’s needs. However, China’s international discourse power has notbeen matched with the overall national status. From the ancient "Aphasia" to almostmodern "silent", to contemporary international discourse achievements reflects of thedevelopment of our international discourse power. At the same time, our internationaldiscourse power is also faced with many challenges: the environmental discourse of strongin Western countries and weak in china, the international image of being misunderstood,lack of features Word spread of power shortage and so on.This paper argues that, we choose the strategy to enhance china’s internationaldiscourse power on the basis of combination with China’s actual situation and learning from the United States: clear positioning themselves, create a good international image,improve their international environment; discourse interpretation with Chinesecharacteristics the world’s problems, a symbol of China issued the sound; enhancedparticipation in the international system, the ability to play our role in the internationalcommunity to maintain our national interests; expansion of our international voicecommunication platform.
