Ancient chinese poetry has always been the key and difficult point in high school Chinese teaching.Appreciation of ancient poetry is not only the standard requirements,but also the college entrance examination requirements.Athough the importance of learning ancient chinese poetry is increasing,but the ability of students to appreciate ancient chinese poetry is not good.There is lack of effective strategies to improve students' appreciate ability.This paper Investigated and analyzed the status quo of the students' ancient chinese poetry appreciation ability and the teachers' existing problems in the teaching.Then on this basis,it summarized and discussed the factors that affect students 'ability to appreciate ancient chinese poetry,and put forward some strategies to improve students' appreciation of ancient chinese poetry.This paper expounds from the following four parts.The first part mainly summarizes the research purpose and contents of this paper,it also makes the necessary sorts and summarizes the current research on the teaching of ancient chinese poetry.It is found that the current research on ancient poetry mainly focuses on three aspects:problem exploration,cause exploration and strategy exploration.The second part investigates the present situation of students' ancient chinese poetry appreciation ability through questionnaires and interview.Then summarizes the existing problems.The main problems of students were lack of reading interest and lack of knowledge about ancient poetry.On this basis,the reasons behind the discussion were discussed.It was found that the most important reason for students' lack of interest was that they did not understand the contents of the poems,the teaching methods of the teachers were outdated,and the contents of the teaching materials were boring.The third part observes the teacher's actual teaching and finds that there are problems such as lack of attention to reading,lack of teaching effectiveness,separation of ancient poetry teaching and writing,single evaluation method and the teaching language is arbitrary.The fourth part puts forward the strategies to enhance students' appreciation of ancient poetry from the aspects of stimulating students' interests and improving teachers'teaching.Stimulating students' interest is mainly based on student activities and integrating into poetry appreciation to improve students' interest in reading.Improvements in teaching methods mainly include the selection of teaching methods,the combination of poetry and composition,and the improvement of exercises and evaluation methods.The forth part is the focus of this paper.Those strategies are made by the author after teaching practice and experience,which are with strong operability and guidance.The paper also contains some student works and teaching records as evidence,trying to show readers a complete and detailed teaching methods.
