Since2003, the construction and development of the Higher Vocational Educationexcellent courses have gone through ten years, the number of national-level excellentcourses has changed from about20to1041now, plus the provincial anduniversity-level courses,by December2012, the total number of Higher VocationalEducation excellent courses has reached to5844. Higher Vocational Educationexcellent courses is one of the core and basic projects of the Higher VocationalEducation quality engineering construction,and now which has shown its giveneffect,demonstration and leading. which also has made a significant contribution toimprove the quality of Higher Vocational Education.Higher Vocational Education excellent courses construction is a magnificent project,the Ministry of National Education and the Ministry of Finance, the local educationdepartments and the institutions have put in a large number of financial, human andmaterial resources, in which the State even gives much financial support to eachnational-level Higher Vocational Education excellent course. This project hasagglomerated great efforts of the higher vocational education managers, researchersand teachers, which has made great achievements, but as the direct beneficiaries ofthis project-students, what is their attitude about Higher Vocational Educationexcellent courses? Do they feel satisfied about the courses? How much satisfied?What are satisfied, and what need to be improved? What are the reasons? How toimprove? These estimates are also a common concern of all the staff of this project.This thesis researches on the Higher Vocational Education excellent courses with thestudents’ point of view, which combines quantitative research and qualitativeresearch. Doing surveys is the most important method, and complemented withliterature method and interviews. The questionnaire about students’ satisfaction onVocational Education excellent courses is based on the assessment index system ofNational Vocational excellent courses, and which also refers to domestic and foreignresearches. After predicted and measured, the questionnaire has high reliability and validity, with the help of the SPSS18.0software, students’ satisfaction on the HigherVocational Education excellent courses is quantified at last. Which will give somehelp on developing the consructinal level and improving the teaching level of the theHigher Vocational Education excellent courses.The thesis consists of the following sections:Chapter One: introduction. This chapter elaborates the reasons why the writer choosesthis title,the significance of the research, the study of the status quo and literaturereview, research design and research plans, which are basal parts of theresearch.Chapter Two: the results of the survey and analysis. This chapter focuses onthe factor analysis of students’ satisfaction on the Higher Vocational Educationexcellent courses, and analysis of students’ satisfaction, finally gets conclusions, andanalyze the reasons of the conclusions.Chapter Three: the countermeasures andsuggestions of how to improve students’ satisfaction on the Higher VocationalEducation excellent courses. This chapter puts forward some targeted and feasibleand operational countermeasures and suggestions, which are base on the analysis ofchapter two, the suggestions which cover six dimensions about the Higher VocationalEducation excellent courses, which are curriculum installing, teaching content,teaching methods, teachers, conditions of practice and learning results.
