The historical background of globalization, informatization, post modernism, the state of young student psychological development, and the examination education-oriented system makes the students vast and hazy when they face the complex values. The young students also have the symptom of lonesome, anxiety, division, emptiness and materialism which belong to modern men. For that reason, the text tries to analyse the situation of values education, especially in the subject of Chinese which is rich in cultural connotation. This study put the Chinese textbook for junior middle school which published by Jiangsu Education Publishing House as the object, then make my own thinking on the basis of statistics and analysis, and put forward recommendations. This study specifically divided into four parts:The first part:Introduction. Point out the background, current situation, meaning, train of thought which belong to the study.The second part:Chapter I. Point out the inevitability of values education in Chinese textbooks. Reviewing the requirements of values education, and these requirements are asked in the course standard of Chinese since twentieth century. Point out the idea and arrangement of values education in this set of textbooks.The third part:Chapter Hand III. Analyzing the value orientation of the tcxtbooks from the perspective of goal and content individually, and point out their features.The fourth part:Chapter IV.On the basic of the above analysis, pointing out some suggestion.
