Research purposes: The bilingual teaching refers to the teaching using a second or a foreignlanguage. Many countries in the world have confirmed that the bilingual teaching as a newmeans of teaching can not only fulfill the professional education but also can improve thestudents’ second learning and application ability effectively. A set of intuitive action language,which has huge impact, can be used in the track and field teaching. The interactions betweenthe students and the teacher or other students facilitate the creation of situation context. In viewof the application of bilingual teaching strategy in track and field courses in Shenyang SportUniversity, this article mainly checks the teaching effect and the application of bilingualteaching strategy. On athletic bilingual teaching this particular teaching goal and the teachingactivity procedure, teaching method, teaching organization form and teaching media and otherfactors and put forward some suggestions, aiming at provide reference for athletic bilingualteaching. Through bilingual teaching, we should make the students master the professionalknowledge and expertise and the English knowledge of the related fields to lay a solidfoundation for students to access through the bilingual knowledge.Research methods: The students from two athletic classes2012of Shenyang Sport Universityare selected as the research objects. The method of literature, questionnaire, teachingexperiment, mathematical statistics, and the T text are used to process and analyze theexperiment data.Research results: Through the bilingual teaching experiment, the T text results of theexperimental class and the control class are compared, and the results show that the use ofbilingual teaching in the track and field teaching can improve the English level of students andstimulate students’ interest in learning and improve the teaching effect.Conclusions: By applying bilingual teaching in track and field classes, teachers can activelycreate an active learning atmosphere, and help the students improve their English level. It canalso help the students play the main role and enhance the leading role of teachers.Suggestions: The experiment and research of bilingual teaching has certain advancement andreference value for improving the quality of teaching. The bilingual education is also animportant way to cultivate compound talents. However, bilingual teaching is still at theexperimental stage in the implementation of track and field teaching, and there are many aspects need to be further improved and perfected.
