Track and field has been one of China’s traditional sports education professional backbone course, also be the main content of middle school physical education teaching. Have a positive effect on the development of students not only exercise capacity, and has a good effect to substitute other sports on the cultivation of students’ spirit of hard-working and tenacious perseverance, effectively improve the physical skill level of students. Based on the syllabus of physical education of sports college course professional track and field collected in China, each physical education course professional track and field teaching teachers in the survey and questionnaire survey, and the above two parts of the data as the analysis object in this paper, the use of artificial and Excel for data analysis. With the research methods of literature and logical analysis, to our country sports colleges and universities physical education track and field teaching syllabus of teaching goal, teaching content, teaching method and means, evaluation and Textbook Research of five aspects of analysis and discussion, attempts to explore the idea of China’s physical education institutions in the professional track and field teaching syllabus revision. In order to improve the teaching quality of physical education undergraduate course specialized, provides certain theory basis for the training of our physical education college track and field personnel.Through the investigation and analysis, results show that:1. our country sports in Physical Education Colleges of professional track and field courses syllabus in the reform of teaching target still have some shortcoming, development goal of the course is not comprehensive, some colleges even in the specific teaching goal is not to make corresponding regulations;2.the general course of track and field teaching content more, due to compression of the restricted hours, teaching tasks to complete, at the same time in the process of teaching hours for theory course is less, is not conducive to the students to accumulate pr edge of track and field theory.3. teaching method and means most of sports colleges in China by the traditional methods, the low utilization rate of modern multimedia teaching methods; in track and field teaching still use the sports teaching mode, too pursuit of project technology and competitive, not the track and field sports fitness and entertainment effects play out in training students’ ability of emphasis; in the student technology and knowledge, ignoring the cultivation of students practice and innovation ability of students learning process, because the high physical athletics course requirements, monotonous and interest is not high;4. teaching evaluation by the theory and the technology assessment, the standards, technical performance as the main content of the examination, neglecting the students usually results in examination. Subject of evaluation for teachers, evaluation methods are simple to graduate exam oriented, and ignores the evaluation on students throughout the learning process and other factors, the summative evaluation is a simple, this evaluation method is single, neglecting the students’ individual differences;5. China’s sports athletics professional physical education teaching materials and slow update speed, lack of flexibility, innovation, is not conducive to the cultivation of sports talents.Based on the above investigation and analysis, based on the research results, combined with the domestic and international development of physical education teaching professional track and field courses trend, proposes the reform for the teaching syllabus of physical education in our country professional track and field courses.
