If modern and contemporary of Chinese literature is vast bright galaxy, Lu Xun’s works is the most dazzling one among the stars. Both on the research of literary history and the language teaching in the middle school, Lu Xun’s works has a pivotal position, which is unmatched by other writers. Looking back on Lu Xun’s works selected in textbooks which have change several times in last eighty years, but the characters of Xiang Linsao, Ah Q, and Kung remained in the hearts of Chinese people generation after generation. However, with the deepening of the reform of Chinese textbooks, some Lu Xun’s works out of the Chinese textbooks, which arouse a heated debate. In addition, the actual problems in the teaching of Lu Xun’s works are unavoidable. The Chinese teacher thinks that Lu Xun’s works is hard to teach, students feel difficult to learn, as a direct result of poor teaching effect. To explore the reasons behind it are various. Therefore, to select and to teach the Lu Xun’s works is becoming an important issue worthy of serious study of the middle school teaching.Selected works of Lu Xun, which mainly divided into five stages:the period of the republic of China,"seventeen years" period, ten years, the new period and now. Since the period of the Republic of China Lu Xun entered the middle school teaching, his works has occupied the position of playing a decisive role in Chinese teaching in middle school. Although in the cultural revolution period had a transient derogatory about Lu Xun, soon turn Lu Xun to the "altar", deified Lu Xun, even there was only Lu Xun’s works in the textbooks except class struggle, no other writers’works. Until the new period, Lu Xun’s works of middle school teaching was gradually towards the right track, the proportion of selected text in the textbooks was back to normal. Thus it can be seen political culture or ideology orientation has profound influence on Lu Xun selections. Today, some of the materials has deleted some of the classic works of Lu Xun, this is because materials table of contents has reduced, resulting in Lu Xun selected articles also has been reduced; some articles of Lu Xun’s works are not suitable for young people to read; under the context of the new curriculum, the textbook diversification, which has resulted in Lu Xun’s works "retreat", and other writers’works have been selected. From the history of Lu Xun selected into textbooks, scientific rationality and selection number we should pay attention to Lu Xun’s works selection in the middle school teaching.Through questionnaires and interviews of the five high schools in the three regions of Liaoning Province, Dalian, Yingkou, Panjin, and analyzed the results of previous investigations, which can be obviously found that the situation of teaching Lu Xun’s works in the middle school is not optimistic——the teachers do not love to teach, the students do not love to learn, the teaching effect is poor, the result is not high. This is mainly because of the quality of teachers is not high, Lu Xun’s works itself is difficult, some students are in order to examination-oriented utilitarian study and the spiritual life of the superficiality, entertainment. To change these problems in the teaching Lu Xun’s works, there three aspects should be taken:The first step is to improve the quality of Chinese teachers, and in the teaching of the efforts to build a bridge between students and Lu Xun; Secondly, to strengthen the teaching and academic links, make the latest academic achievements as soon as possible into the middle school classroom; Finally, the teaching methods should be improved, break the traditional teaching mode and thinking manacle. It should be noted that the use of situational approach, reading pedagogy, self-exploration and collaboration learning in the teaching of Lu Xun. By applying these methods to practice, try to analyze and solve problems tend to be reasonable, it can receive the actual effect to improve the quality of teaching, the promotion and experience the experience might do in Lu Xun middle school teaching practice offer a humble.
