In recent years, picture books are widely applied to primary education.The picture book reading research has become an important aspect of educators research.It earned the general recognition of the teachers that picture books reading stimulates students’ reading interest and early reading ability of elementary school low section. How to transformed the good picture books into teaching resources, how to apply effectively picture books to the reading teaching in the lower primary section.It has become most teachers confusion and even eager to solve the real problem.Based on the literature research as a starting point, through the questionnaires, interviews, case studies and other research methods empirical study.The paper more detailed analysis the current status. The author found that most children do not develop good reading habits.But many teachers are not know picture books.The teachers should improve ability about reading picture books, especially the choice of picture books, picture books reading guidance,grasp the theme and so on. For low-grade students in terms of picture book reading, as well as the issue of teachers in teaching reading picture books, the author put forward from both students and teachers to improve the elementary school low section of picture books reading teaching countermeasures and suggestions.This article is divided into four chapters to discuss the effectiveness of picture books reading teaching in the lower primary school.The paper mainly discuss two aspects. First,the writer analyzes the present situation and the reasons. The present situation mainly include the reading interest and reading method and in reading ability and reading environment.The reason mainly due to the performance of students, teachers, schools and so on. Second, the author proposes key methods to improve the teaching of reading picture books effectiveness,such as the target construction strategy, the process guidance strategy, the evaluation strategy and the security.The writer wants to find an effective teaching method for lower primary teaching of reading picture books section.
