Professional degree is different from the type of academic degree and they are at the same level. The task of professional degree education is based on certain social occupation or job needs, training students to be compound high-level talents who adapt to the actual work needed for these occupations or job application. In order to adapt to social development and perfect education system, full-time professional degree postgraduates have began large-scale enrollment since 2009. For enrollment targets are mostly fresh graduates who have less practical experience and poor application ability, but the most important link to cultivate professional degree students is practice teaching, which can improve students’ practice ability, innovation ability and comprehensive ability, so practice teaching of full-time professional degree postgraduates is extremely important.In view of the significance of the practice teaching for full-time professional degree postgraduates, it is necessary to study it. This paper focusing on the practice teaching of full-time professional degree postgraduates, divided four parts to carry on the discussion.In the part of introduction, summarized the current studies’ situation, and found current studies noticing the importance of cultivating students’ practice ability, but there were few systematic studies about practice teaching.The second part is about theoretical issues of the research. Ontology, epistemology, axiology and methodology basis of practice teaching of full-time professional degree postgraduates are expounded.The methodology was applied to practice in the fourth part of the policy recommendations.In the third part, built a practice teaching elements system of full-time professional degree postgraduates by using Delphi method. This system contains three levels of factors. There are four factors in the first level, including curricular practice teaching, extracurricular practice teaching, dissertations and practice teaching guarantee. There are fourteen factors in level two and thirty-five factors in level three. And according to the practice teaching elements in third part, designed tutor questionnaire and student questionnaire from curricular practice teaching; extracurricular practice teaching, dissertations and practice teaching guarantee four elements, surveyed practice teaching situation of full-time professional degree postgraduates, found main problems. Such as curricular practice teaching curriculum doesn’t reflect the degree of occupation and teaching methods are too rigid; double tutorial system doesn’t execute well and practice base construction in poor condition in extracurricular practice teaching; dissertation form is too monotonous, and does not embody the characteristics of the professional degree; practice teaching programs and system are imperfect and so on. In the end, analyzed causes of those problems from four elements’ perspective.In the light of problems found in part three, the forth part put forward appropriate policy recommendations, primarily from the training units, the employing units and the government three aspects. For instance, to solve problems of curricular practice teaching, universities need to etablish a detailed curricular practice teaching program and put scenarios pedagogy into application and the government also needs to develop policies to promote third-party evaluation and connection between professional degrees and occupation qualification. To solve problems of extracurricular practice teaching, besides universities need to etablish a detailed extracurricular practice teaching program, tutors selection and training systems, and put experiential learning method into practice. The government also needs to do propaganda work and the enterprises be actively involved in the cultivation. To solve problems of rest elements needs these three subjects at the same time.The content of this study-practice teaching of full-time professional degree postgraduates is a relatively new subject, and the element system of practice teaching can be flexibly applied to evaluation of practice teaching of professional education in the micro level. The final policy recommendations can be used as a reference for the relevant units and people.
