Ancient poetry is the essence of Chinese classical literature,its unique aesthetic value and rich cultural connotation plays an important role in improving students’ quality. Ancient poetry teaching in junior high school is an important part of Chinese reading teaching, which occupies a considerable proportion in the teaching material. However, it is influenced by the traditional single teaching mode, the present situation is not optimistic. With a new round of basic education reform and a great promote of quality-oriented education, all kinds of Chinese educational teaching methods emerge endlessly. Situational teaching is growing fast in such a background. Because of its characteristics and advantages, more and more teachers begin to think about the significance and value of implementing it in ancient poetry teaching in junior high school. They continuously implement situational teaching in ancient poetry teaching classroom. With the accumulation of theory and practice,ancient poetry situational teaching in junior high school get continuously developed.Based on clarifying the concept of "situation", "situational teaching", "ancient poetry situational teaching", the paper summarizes the characteristics of "ancient poetry situational teaching". Combined with the aesthetic characteristics of ancient poetry, the psychological characteristics of junior high school students, such as their rich emotion, be vulnerable to be influenced by outside, their pursuit of novelty and the concept and relevant requirements of teaching suggestions advocated by the new course standard, the thesis discusses the feasibility of the introduction of situational teaching in ancient poetry teaching in junior high school, and expounds that it has important application value on stimulating students’interest on learning, cultivating students’aesthetic consciousness, and promoting their internalization of emotions.The paper analyses the problems of ancient poetry situational teaching in junior high school by ways of questionnaire survey, interviews and classroom observation, which represent in the following ways:firstly, the created situations merely become formalities, which breaking away from the text content and teaching goals; secondly. it divorces from students’ actual situation so that emotion penetration is low; thirdly, it is too over-stressing on activities to ignore language. After including and summarizing this kind of universal and typical problems that are liable to appear in teaching practice, the paper discusses the reasons.Combined with the examining status and realistic thinking, the paper expounds that ancient poetry situational teaching in junior high school should follow three teaching principles. Aiming at the particularity of ancient poetry, according to my observation and reflection in the education practice, and combined with some successful cases to display and analysis, the writer probes some teaching implementation strategies of microscopic classroom into ancient poetry situational teaching. Firstly, broaden teaching ways of ancient poetry situational teaching by rational use of media,such as music renders situations, pictures reproduce situations and percept situations by videos. Secondly, build Bridges for ancient poetry situational teaching with the aid of imagination, through expanding content to depict situations and carrying out activities into the situations;Thirdly, creating beautiful reading situations is an important approach to launching ancient poetry situational teaching; Finally, carrying out the situational dialogues so that students can construct knowledge and communicate emotion in the dialogue.
