The Investigation And Analysis Of Track And Field Course Cultivated Student’s Ability

As the reform of education goes on from 2001, the PE courses start to be reformed, which are put forward higher requirements. Thus, all PE course has to be adapted to the new ideas of reform and innovation. Speaking of which, the cultivation of comprehensive vocational abilities have become an inevitable trend for the reform of physical education curriculum.Track and field is a required course for physical education specialty, which carries the task of nurturing students’ basic abilities of education, training, innovation, research,organization of the competitions and even refereeing. Meanwhile, it directly affects each one of primary and secondary schools, also occupying an important position for the training of their physical and mental quality, organizational and interpersonal skills.In this paper, the students, who are majored in PE in Jiangxi colleges, are for the survey. Through the literature, questionnaire survey and expert interview method, even logical analysis, from the aspects of teacher’s ability and research, creativity and training methods, the author is aiming to find out the weak links in education and training under the course of track and field, and some relevant measures were proposed. By analyzing the data from investigation and case studies, conclusions are obtained as follow.Firstly, the track and field courses mainly pay attention to training the students’ integrated skills of education, tarining, organization and refereeing, research and innovation.Secondly, the result shows that the students’ capability of,in Jiangxi Colleges PE major, is not good, especially the ability of explanation and demonstration. The same is true that nearly half of the students do not possess the skills of training. However, it’s worth mentioning most of them possess referee qualification, even if their theoretical knowledge, creative and practical ability is not ideal. The creative and research ability of the students at the all levels is not high, the scientific training methods and means are unitary and behind the times.Thirdly, its weak promote of the track and field courses, under Jiangxi Colleges PE Major, was checked and restricted by multiple factors, maily because of the students themselves. A second reason is college environment and professors. Both school and professors are laying more emphasis on the traning for practical skills but not academic knowledge, as a result, the ability of education, training and competition organizations is performed better than research and creative ability for the students.
