Along with the implementation of the curriculum reform, the importance of curriculum resources has revealed day by day. On one hand, the curriculum resources are especially insufficient as the executive condition, on the other hand because of the weak aware of curriculum resources a lot if curriculum resources has been ignored, not in a timely and properly way after processed and transformed into the actual curriculum, which causes many valuable curriculum resources to be wasted. The curriculum resources guarantee the achievement of the curriculum goal and the effective development of the curriculum resources is directly related to the implementation of the curriculum.In the English subjects, English curriculum standards(test version)! make the discipline develop curriculum resources, and use expanded channels to learn! as the basic concept of English courses. T hen it is also required in one of the nine goals specific description Students can use of curriculum resources is to train students# learning abilities. Therefore, how effective the development of English curriculum resources are is worth teachers# while to explore.This study, based on its own characteristics of English, based on high school English curriculum standards, supported by intellectual development theory, contemporary curriculum theory, constructivist theory and other theories, on the basis of English curriculum resources from home and abroad related research results, through the questionnaire, the interview surveys, the statistical analysis and other research methods, has investigated and understood the current English curriculum resources development and utilization of the realities and problems in Ruijin No1 Middle School, and in-depth analysis of the underlying causes have led to problems. On the basis, combined with the English teaching realities and specific conditions in Ruijin No1 Middle School, attempt to put forward appropriate coping strategies and development proposals.The survey shows the problems: Widely spread part of the English curriculum resources are still in adequate; part of the curriculum resources could not have been fully utilized; the carrier is only, the content is outdated, the form is monotonous with curriculum resources development and utilization; curriculum resources development and utilization lack communication and cooperation both inside and outside school; curriculum resources of development and utilization lack scientific management, and many other issues. The reasons are as follows: Firstly, the factors of the teachers; Secondly, factors of the outside constraints; Thirdly, incomplete protective system; Last, the constraints of the test-education.Solutions discuss: first, have a good concept of curriculum resources; second, use the textbook resource creatively; third, develop the out-of-school curriculum resources; fourth, expand the curriculum resources through the Internet; fifth, pay close attention to the implicit curriculum resources; sixth, strengthen the data-based construction of web-based curriculum resources; seventh, pay more effort on the training of English curriculum reform; eighth, build the multi-platform of internal and external exchanges and cooperation. The paper aims at providing reference for senior high school teachers developing English curriculum resources and providing specific help for the quality-improvement of English teaching in Ruijin No.1 Middle School.
