Sustainable development is an eternal subject in mankind society, in differentperiod of the development of human society, representations of the sustainabledevelopment are somewhat different. As productivity rises, with the development of thesociety, many environmental problems has been becoming. Along with the globalwarming and environmental degradation, people has known about the cause ofcircumstance problem, especially the fact of climate changes due to the increase of thecarbon dioxide gas in the atmosphere, reducing carbon emissions is an important way torealize the sustainable development of society. As the largest carbon emitter of theworld, china is facing great pressure, for the realization of our country which haspromised to cut40%-45%carbon emissionsat the united nations climate talks inCopenhagen, the responsibility of construction industry is great, thus cutting the carbonemissions of construction industry, promoting and solving the problem of carbonemissions is significant.In order to promote the low carbon buildings, it was researched as the theme in thispaper. Firstly based on concept definition on low carbon buildings, the connotation oflow carbon buildings was analyzed, which can also deepen the understanding. Based oninter-external experiences, this paper assessed eight representative related evaluationsystem or method, the optional index of evaluation system of low carbon buildings wasselected by the analysis and comparison. Then based on the experts consultation andgroup discussions, the impacts of factors of carbon emissions in building life cycle wasanalyzed from the perspective of ‘carbon footprint, carbon source, carbon sink, finallyestablished a comprehensive assessment indicator system of the low carbon building,which provided technical support for low carbon development in the constructionindustry. The evaluation system consists of four first level indicators, which is made upof "direct carbon source, energy supply and energy system","indirect carbon source,low carbon design and construction","direct carbon sink--greening and energyrecycling","indirect carbon sink, resource recycling", they consists of a total of19twolevel index.As to determine the weight of each index ofthe construction of low carbonevaluation system, this paper compares the advantages and disadvantages of existingweight calculation method,at the same time, combining the expert evaluation information which has fuzzy and uncertainty characteristics,using "Delphi method","based on the triangular fuzzy number AHP method" to calculate the weight of eachindex ofevaluation system of building low carbon. In this paper, the weights calculationcontained a collection of25effective questionnaires from expert group, as for handlingthese data, the process of the weighted complex calculationused MATLAB language asa tool for programming, we can get the evaluation system of building low carbon and itsweight.By the reasonable analysis results to the weight, proved that based on the fuzzyinformation, using the triangular fuzzy number AHP to determine the weight of buildinglow carbon evaluation system is feasible.
