Application Of The Value Engineering To Green Production In Printing Enterprise

This paper based on printing enterprise as the research object, applied the value engineering theory to analyse its production process and supplies. Then confirmed the parts worth improving, and offered suggestions for improvement. This could promote the printing enterprise to elevate its green degree, obtain the comprehensive economic benefits and social benefits.Based on the existing theory of value engineering, this paper replaces the life cycle costs with the environmental costs and obtains green value engineering expand formulas. Environmental costs include energy consumption, material consumption, "three wastes" and carbon emissions. According to the printing enterprise production characteristics, confirms the environmental costs through quantitative and qualitative analysis, and then launches value engineering activity.Firstly, in the step of printing preparation, certain benzene soluble gravure ink was taken as the research objective, and the theory and method of value engineering were applied to analyze the function and cost of the ink compositions. According the value coefficient, the formulation of the alcohol soluble gravure ink was designed and non-benzene solvent system was developed.Secondly, in the step of printing process, water fountain roller components of Heidelberg SM-52 was taken as the research object, apply the fundamental value formula and expanded formula on the process of functional analysis and value evaluation, the components that need to be improved could be sought out. According to the above analysis, the paper brings forward optimization measures.Thirdly, in the step of postpress process, the laminating process was taken as the research objective, the theory and method of value engineering were applied to analyze the value of the coating equipment technology and related materials in the film covering process of a certain printing enterprise. The optimization objects was located according to the value coefficient and the green improvement program was put forward.It is found that the value engineering could raise economic benefits, at the same time could increase social benefits. The printing enterprise should look for ways to reduce costs while considering the level of environment protection of production process and products. The printing enterprise can achieve maximum comprehensive benefit and with an eye toward long-term growth. The government departments should make relative policy to help printing enterprise realizing green transformation.
