Teaching Strategies Research On The History Of Science And Technology In Senior High School

Modern society is a society that uses technology. Without science and technology, people can't lead their life normally. With the development of technology, the lifestyle of people has changed a lot However, the fast development of science and technology caused a series of problems, such as environmental pollution, indifferent and moral drop in humanity. In order to make people aren't as cold as machine, how to keep balance between these two problems is a great challenge to us. The history of science and technology belongs to liberal subjects and natural subjects, which benefit to the students and teachers in the teaching procedure. However, it has been neglected in the teaching, taking small percentage in the textbooks. In the process of teaching, only the history of science and technology itself is introduced, the humanistic values didn't dig out to the students. In this paper, in order to make students study history of science and technology and acquire the humanistic and scientific spirits, I will give some opinions and suggestions on how to teach history of science and technology in senior middle school, based on some analysis and research on related teaching cases.This paper consists of four parts. Part one is to introduce the latest research trend of the history of science and technology in history circles. Combining with the education teaching theories to illustrate the importance of history teaching in middle school history.Part two is to analyze the high school textbooks at present by comparing. Part three is that taking history of science and technology since 15th century as an example, teaching situation investigation will be figured out by questionnaire survey. Part four, analyzing those findings and the phenomena in the cases to put forward our own teaching strategies and approaches.
