The employment intention is of great importance to people's livelihood,and it is also the most important means of a man's living and development in the society.Employment issues related to national economic development,social stability,which also has a major social and economic significance.The current employment situation in China is not optimistic,the employment of college students has become a major concern of the community.Since the reform of higher education system,the employment of college students has changed from the distribution system to the two-way choice of the individual and the employing units in the labor market.The number of college graduates has been increased rapidly since the policy of enrollment expansion in Colleges.The supply of labor is increasing,but the labor market demand is weak at the same time.Since the global financial crisis in 2008,the world's major economies have not fully recovered,the international economic situation is not optimistic.At the same time,China is in the transition period,the economic growth rate slowed year by year,which increase the students' pressure on employment further,students face more severe employment problems as time goes by.Chinese government have formulated a series of policies to promote the employment of college students.These policies such as encouraging college students to go to the mid-west and rural employment,helping them to start an undertaking,have eased the pressure on college students' employment.However the problem of employment not only includes increasing the number of jobs,but also relates to the employment intention of the pre employment stage.Employment intention is the starting point of employment,and the researching of employment intention is of great significance to help college students to establish the correct employment intention to solve the problem of employment of college students.This paper analyzed the employment intention of college students from the perspective of gender.Firstly,on the basis of summarizing the existing literature,this paper showed the extent of the influence degree of gender on intention employment from aspects of aimed area,unit,the starting salary,remote and grass-roots intention,graduation plan.The impact degree scale was analyzed at once.Secondly,explain the differences in a economical way with the Human capital theory,labor market segmentation theory and other related theories.Finally,the corresponding suggestions are put forward based on the analysis of the research above.Based on the above ideas,this paper includes the following parts:Part ?:Introduction.This section includes the research back ground,methods,theoretical and practical significance,innovation and deficiencies.Part ?:Literature review.This section defines the concept of the employment intention,Summarizes the domestic and foreign research about employment intention,related research on the general employment intention of university students in China,the impact of gender on the employment of college students.Part ?:Empirical analysis.This section consists of three parts:The first part is the data source,including the design of the questionnaire and the composition of the sample.The second part is the analysis of the work information,including a simple description of the data and the significance test of the intention of employment unitsand regions,monthly salary,and remote primary intention employment will,graduation plan data etc.The third part is the analysis of influence degree scale,establishing the evaluation system of college students'employment intention,the outcome about the influence degree of different factors on the employment intention of male and female college students is followed by the use of principal component analysis.The results of the data analysis shows that gender has significant impact on the monthly salary,and remote primary intention,no significant effect on College Students' employment intention areas and unit,the factors affecting the employment of male and female students are different in the process of employment.Part IV:Theoretical explanation.Including brief the labor theory of human capital,labor market segmentation theory,the explanation of the above theories to the difference of employment intention between male and female college students.Part V:Conclusions and recommendations.Including the basic conclusions and recommendations to college students,colleges,enterprise,government.
