In recent years,the quantity and scale of postgraduate students continues to expand,but the cultivation quality is worrying.The comprehensive quality of postgraduate students is an important embodiment of the cultivation quality.Therefore,the research has both the theoretical significance and practical significance in complement and perfect existing research results,improve the existed evaluation content and evaluation methods,enhance graduate study and practice enthusiasm and improve the management level of postgraduates training unit.Based on the existed research at home and abroad,in the view of Taylor educational evaluation theory and formative evaluation theory,through literature,the questionnaire survey method and interview method to make this thesis.Taking postgraduates of various schools as the subject of investigation and some teachers in these areas as the subject.The self-made questionnaire is divided into five parts: Ideological and moral quality evaluation,professional quality evaluation,academic quality evaluation,practical quality evaluation and psychological quality evaluation.The collected data is analyzed by analysis of descriptive statistics and analysis of variance by SPSS 19.0 software.It is aimed at surveying the status of overall comprehensive quality,degree of recognition and attention of postgraduate s in each dimension.Using analysis of descriptive statistics to analyze each dimension of comprehensive quality evaluation.The results show that the overall objective degree of comprehensive quality evaluation o n postgraduates is low in comparison.And the mean value of objective degree in five dimensions comes from high to low as follows: professional quality evaluation,academic quality evaluation,practical quality evaluation,ideological and moral quality evaluation and psychological quality evaluatio n,among which the objective level of “professional quality evaluation” is the highest,“psychological quality evaluation” objective level is the lowest.Postgraduates pay high attention on the content of comprehensive quality evaluation.The highest level of importance are academic ethics,dissertation quality,behavior regulation,scientific research and project participation,interpersonal communication and cooperation ability.The lowest level of importance are the practical activities,political qualit y,science and technology competition or patent invention.Through interaction analysis,it is found that there are significant differences between different types of universities and majors in ways of ideological and moral quality evaluation,English proficiency requirements and requirements of academic dissertation content.Analyzing 17 factors of the questionnaire with one-sample T test and one-way ANOVA,the objective degree of postgraduate comprehensive quality evaluation is influenced by the following factors: Gender,ideological and moral quality evaluation,academic ethics evaluation system,whether to evaluate basic operating skills,whether to evaluate humanities quality,academic papers journal basic requirements,evaluation system of academic communication,requirements of academic dissertation content,evaluation of social practical ability,whether to evaluate psychological quality and whether to evaluate mid-term.From the above data analysis results and interview survey results,the problems of the comprehensive quality evaluation system of postgraduates are: the evaluation content is not comprehensive,the evaluation method does not reflect diversification and dynamic,the evaluation criteria are not sufficiently clear and strict.The possible reasons are: insufficient emphasis,imbalance between quantitative evaluation and qualitative evaluation,training and management of postgraduates are not strict.Combined with the above problems and reasons,the requirements of education internationalization for postgraduates and the actual needs of the society,from the aspects of evaluation content,evaluation method,evaluation criteria and evaluation system,the thesis puts forward the improvement suggestions of comprehensive quality evaluation of postgraduates.
