With the advance of balanced development of compulsory education,rural education is getting more and more attention.The backward of rural education has become the short board during the procedures of the balanced development of compulsory education.Teachers with structural problems are still terrible.Among these problems,the structural shortage of rural teachers has been one of the key factors to the development of rural education.This study includes four parts: the introduction,analysis on the status quo and questions,reasons,countermeasures to the structural shortage of rural primary teachers in Wulingyuan District.This research is based on the rural primary schools in Wulingyuan District,and mainly to explore the improvement measures to the structural shortage of teachers of rural primary school.Field survey is the most important research method of this study.This study is seeking for the reasons that cause the structural shortage of rural primary teachers from the objective and subjective aspects.It attempts to improve the structural shortage of teachers of elementary school in rural areas,improves the quality of rural education,promotes the development of compulsory education,and contributes to rural education.The part of status quo described the current situation of teachers' strength of rural primary school in Wulingyuan District.The author comes to know initially fundamental state of the teachers' strength of rural primary school in Wulingyuan District through the interview to the staff of the educational department and visit in rural primary schools.Then,the author finds out the structural deficiency of teachers mainly exist in the disciplines,age,educational levels and so on.For example,there is lake of music teachers,PE teachers and art teachers,the teacher's age is generally high,the average academic qualifications and professional titles are generally low and so on.The author analyzes the reason existed behind the problem and finds that the reasons for structural shortage of rural teachers includes historical reasons and realistic reasons,Among the historical reasons,the legacy of the "people turn to the public";realistic reasons include the unidirectional flow of rural primary school teachers,and the promotion of the bottleneck;the social background of the urban-rural dual structure and the invisible influence of education scale are both historical factors and realistic factors.Finally,as to the countermeasures to improve the structural problems of rural primary school teachers,the author believes that we should start from many aspects which the government should broaden the channels for young teachers to join in the teachers,and resolve the structural problems from its origin;raise the teachers' material amenities to incite rural teachers stay in the rural schools;further implement the reform of the teacher professional title system;promote and improve the communication and exchange system of urban and rural teachers to improve the rural teachers' knowledge and skills;establish the system of “Xian guan xiao pin” and teachers avoid the limitation of urban and rural area,which improve the influence of teachers.
