Research On Postgraduate Education Quality Evaluation System Based On Kirkpatrick Evalaution Model

With the popularization of Chinese Higher Education,the scale of postgraduate education has also gradually expanded,making the quality of postgraduate education more and more be concerned by society.Basically,to carry on quality evaluation on postgraduate education makes it beneficial for university to find its education problem according to evaluation results and thus to adjust its education programs in a targeted way in the aim of guarantee and improve education quality and even to continuously provide the nation with high level creative talents for national construction.Based on a series of researches on the existing postgraduate education evaluation system,this paper puts forward that students’ opinion on the process of education should be brought into the evaluation index system and integrates Kirkpatrick Evaluation Model into the evaluation system respectively from Reaction Level,Learning Level,Behavior Level and Results Level to evaluate postgraduate education quality.Specifically,the author establishes postgraduate evaluation system by conducting two rounds of Delphi Method and Reliability Analysis to determine index system and conducting the third round Delphi Method as well as Analytic Hierarchy Process to determine index weight.To demonstrate the effectiveness of the evaluation system,this paper selects six majors of S university in Jiangsu Province to evaluate its education quality and specifically offers suggestions to the university according to evaluation results,thus to improve its postgraduate education quality.Finally based on the evaluation system that has been constructed,the paper offers suggestions to develop postgraduate education and continuously improve its quality in national scale.
