Foreign literary works in Chinese textbooks of senior high school,not only enrich the content of the textbooks but also promote understanding of the multi-culture of the world.These foreign literary works with their rich variety of exotic colors,further broaden the students' horizon,perfect their knowledge structure,and enhance their aesthetic taste and humanistic accomplishment.This dissertation focuses on the teaching of foreign literary works in Chinese textbooks for Shandong senior high school.Through the analysis of foreign literary works in these textbooks and the questionnaires of current teaching of foreign literary works in the related areas,it finds some problems in teaching,and accordingly makes some concrete suggestions.Therefore,the dissertation is mainly composed of four parts.On the basis of the teaching requirements of foreign literary works proposed in the new curriculum standard,the first chapter discusses that the foreign literary works in the Chinese textbooks can promote the understanding of multi-culture,enhance the aesthetic ability,improve humanities,and adjust the knowledge structure.The second chapter analyzes foreign literary works in Chinese textbooks of Shandong People's Publishing House from the topic and the genre,the writer and the nationality,the time and the style,the quantity and the distribution,and summarizes the characteristics of the chosen texts.In the third chapter,the current teaching situation of foreign literary works is investigated from the aspects of teaching materials selection,teachers' thoughts and ideas,teaching methods,students' wishes,and teaching evaluation.The main problems then are as such: the irrationality of selection of foreign literary works in teaching materials,the obsoleteness of teachers' thoughts,the singleness of teaching methods,low interest in students' learning,lack of teaching evaluation,and so on.According to the problems above,the fourth chapter puts forward some suggestions,i.e.establishment of teacher's correct ideas of foreign literature teaching,deployment of various teaching methods,target teaching based on the characteristics of foreign literary works,improvement of the students' learning initiative,and enhancement of texts selection and evaluation methods. |
