Geographical image as the second language of geography is an important medium of education of geography teachers in teaching activities,is also the students master the important tool of geography.The use of geographic image in current college entrance examination,understand and differentiate reasoning topic and scores of relatively large,is in the process of the geography curriculum reform needs to be a cause of attention.From the domestic and foreign research present situation,foreign geographical education pay special attention to the students for the application of geographic image in real life and learning,and has set up a rise to high-tech stage,domestic attaches great importance to the geographic image in the learning activities for students to understand and analysis,but there is few for geographic image using the present situation of research,geographic images lack of practical application value,needs attention.Understanding the present situation of geographical image and providing more research material to promote the research of the geographical education researchers has played a role in promoting the teaching and reflection of geography teachers.Four high schools in liaocheng city as an example,through questionnaires,classroom observation and the way of communication between teachers and students,respectively from the perspective of teachers and students,the current status of geography image to use to do a detailed investigation,get the following results: is high school geography teacher's professional ability level is higher,in the teachers of rise of bigger,to promote the reform of geography curriculum calls is higher,and the geography image teaching more seriously.But exists in the geography teaching textbook geography image setting can't meet the demand of teaching,teachers' practical use of blackboard writing board painting skill is not strong,teachers accept less post-career professional training development way,students' learning interest in geography is relatively low.By face to face communicate with teaching first-line teachers and classroom observation,the above problems puts forward the following Suggestions: appropriate modification geography textbook image set proportion,increase the image of teaching content;It is necessary to increase the training of blackboard drawing and practice teaching skills to meet the practical teaching requirements in the course of university geography.Schools and society by strengthening external cooperation and communication,to provide more professional development way for geography teachers,thus more conducive to the teaching reform practice,and so on.The geography teacher should stand in the height of the quality education and the student body and mind development rule,instruct the student to use the image to solve the practical problem.All kinds of schools at all levels should payattention to strengthen cooperation and exchange,often organized teachers' participation in modern teaching,talent and quality of learning and promote development towards the direction of the major innovation of geography teachers.
