Professional identity of civil servants refers to their affirmative evaluation for their work and it is one of the core elements of professional ethics.It not only has fundamental influence on personal professionalism and performance style of public officials,but also affects working efficiency of government department and service quality of public department.Therefore,it is of important significance to discuss characteristics of current situation of professional identity of civil servants and related issues for promoting government administration reform,strengthening quality construction of cadre team and increasing work performance of administrative department.This research adopts quantity and quality combination method.On the basis of existing research and literature,professional identity scale of young civil servants in Yunfu city has been prepared,which investigates current situation of professional identity of 600 civil servants in Yunfu city.Through carding and analysis of results,it deeply understands current situation and characteristics of professional identity of young civil servants in Yunfu city and combines statistical analysis results and interview material to deeply discuss main influencing factors and reasons behind the data.Finally,it proposes some countermeasures and suggestions to help Yunfu city to improve the professional identity level of local civil servants,and then help to improve working efficiency of government department and service level of public department.The research has found out that the professional identity level of young civil servants in Yunfu city is in the middle stage,but there are still many problems.For example,the professional identity level of male civil servants is low,the professional identity level of civil servants with high degrees is low and the professional identity level of county civil servants,chief and deputy civil servants is low;social evaluation,development space and institutional system are all related factors affecting professional identity of young civil servants in Yunfu city.For this,this paper finally proposes countermeasures in four aspects that the government should work hard to improve the social image of civil servants,expand their professional development space,set up scientific compensation and welfare system and increase training communication platform.
