A Study On Pupils’ Extracurricular Reading Based On Home-school Cooperation

The effective method for primary school students to collect and acquire information knowledge is extracurricular reading,which is often used as one of the ways to improve Chinese literacy.Extracurricular reading not only helps to develop the vision and mind of the pupils,but also is a good way to encourage pupils to accumulate beautiful sentences and collect reading materials.It is not enough for the pupils to rely on the teacher’s teaching in the classroom.It also requires the family to supervise and guide the children’s extracurricular reading.Through home-school cooperation,primary school students can achieve these goals,such as:scientific reading,efficient reading,happy reading and so on.In the same way,it also arouses the primary school students’reading motivation unconsciously,so as to increase the number and level of extracurricular readings for primary school students,and to enhance the Chinese language literacy while protecting the quality and quantity of the double standards.In this study,students’ questionnaires,parental questionnaires,and teacher interviews are conducted to investigate the extracurricular reading in Handan City S elementary school and the status of home-school cooperation guidance.Understand its shortcomings,and from the students,families,teachers and schools these four perspectives to analyze and propose some guidance.Pay attention to the common influence of family and school on the extracurricular reading of primary school students,understand the characteristics of children’s cognitive development and follow the children’s physical and mental development rules,and it is more conducive to the overall healthy development of children.I hope this study can provide teachers and schools with certain help and methods.With the cooperation of parents and school,students’extracurricular reading ability will have further development.
