In 2017,the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China officially promulgated the "Compulsory Education Science Curriculum Standards for Primary Schools" with new characteristics of "extension" and "integration",which has brought new opportunities and challenges to the reform and development of science education in China.With the vigorous development of the maker movement,more and more researchers have found that the maker movement may have great value in education.Maker education advocates discipline integration,work-driven,innovation sharing and cooperative exploration,which coincides with the requirements of the newly revised primary school science curriculum standards.The author applies the concept of maker education to science education in primary schools,trying to find a new way to implement the requirements of the new curriculum standard and better stimulate students' creative potential.This paper combs the relevant data of maker education and primary school science education,expounds the relevant research,analyzes the elements of maker education concept integrated into primary school science education teaching,designs and implements primary school science teaching cases based on maker education concept,in order to explore the application of creative education concept in primary school science teaching.After analyzing the effect of teaching practice,it comes to the conclusion that incorporating maker education concept into primary school science teaching can improve students' learning enthusiasm and classroom participation,improve students' knowledge application ability and problem-solving ability,and change students' scientific attitude and so on.The thesis mainly includes the following parts:Chapter ?: Introduction.This paper analyzes the significance and background of the topic selection,and elaborates the selected research contents and methods.Chapter ?: Overview of Relevant Theories.This paper summarizes the relevant research of maker education and primary school science education at home and abroad,defines the concepts of maker,maker education and so on,analyzes the characteristics of maker education such as integration,research and creation,and sharing,and also analyzes thelearning methods such as Project-Based Learning and Learning by-Design used in maker education.Chapter ?: Design of Science Teaching Cases in Primary Schools under the Concept of Maker Education.This paper analyzes the basic concept,educational objectives,teaching process,teaching evaluation,practical conditions and other elements of the integration of the maker teaching mode and primary school science teaching.It combines the advantages of the TDCS teaching method and SCS teaching method to form a teaching process more suitable for primary school science classroom.On this basis,it designs a primary school science teaching case based on the maker education concept.Chapter ?: Teaching Case Practice.The designed teaching case is implemented,and feedback data are obtained through questionnaires and interviews to analyze the implementation effect.Chapter ?: Research Summary and Prospect.This paper summarizes the research,reflects on the deficiencies in the research,and looks forward to the future research direction and content.
