As a kind of curriculum developed by schools in the three-level curriculum management system of our country,school-based curriculum has been widely used in schools all over the country for many years.The development of school-based curriculum can expand students' learning horizon,form individualized development space,and enhance teachers' ability of curriculum research.It also creates the teaching charm and characteristics of teachers and schools.The Chemistry Curriculum Standard of General Senior High School(2017 Edition)has reformed the national curriculum by setting up three major courses: compulsory course,optional course and elective course.It is pointed out clearly that schools should strengthen the construction of elective courses and make effective use of school and social resources in combination with the actual situation of the school to design a school-based curriculum.Xunwu County belongs to the county of Ganzhou City,Jiangxi Province.It is a land rich in resources,with the crown of “the kingdom of rare earth”,“the township of Chinese honey orange”,and “the hometown of Chinese navel orange”.The teachers in local school are excellent and many local resources can be used as chemistry curriculum resources,which has theoretical and practical feasibility for school-based curriculum development.At first,this paper theoretically expounds the definition of curriculum and school-based curriculum,and investigates the current research situation of school-based curriculum in senior high school.Besides,under the new curriculum concept,it analyzes the practical significance to students and teachers' core competence in chemistry with the school-based curriculum.Secondly,the author makes a detailed investigation,classification and summary on the curriculum resources of chemical amount in Xunwu County,and sums up the combination of local curriculum resources and chemistry knowledge in senior high school by combining with the rich teaching experience of local teachers.In consideration of the students' specific needs,the school-based curriculum,"Looking for Chemistry around",has been developed and designed.Finally,some contents of school-based curriculum are selected for teaching practice.Finally,based on the evaluation of the implementation of school-based curriculum,this paper finds out problems in practice,sums up experience.It also puts forward the relevant conclusions on the design and practice of developing school-based curriculum with local resources,and looks forward to the follow-up research of school-based curriculum.
