The peer effect in the educational process is an important frontier hot topic in pedagogy,economics,and sociology.Studying the influence of peer effects on the educational production process can not only optimize the allocation of educational resources,but also help to scientifically formulate social integration and education equity.Public policy.This study uses literature research and quantitative analysis to empirically study the peer effects in education,analyze the influence of children of migrant population on the academic achievement of local children,discuss the influencing factors affecting academic performance from the perspective of social interaction,and suggest future research.Starting from the reality of Chinese education,this paper analyzes the mechanism and influence mechanism of student peer effect,so as to improve the efficiency of educational resource allocation,promote education integration and education fairness.This paper consists of five parts.The first part is the introduction part,which mainly expounds the research origin,research purpose,research significance,research innovation point,research ideas and methods and the definition of core concepts.The second part is the literature review.The system combs the research status at home and abroad,and combines the domestic and foreign research literature to analyze the deficiencies and inspirations of the existing research.The third part is the research design,including data source,variable design and analysis framework.It mainly introduces the independent variables,dependent variables and intermediate variables of the study.The independent variables are student types,the dependent variables are student scores,and the intermediate variables are four.Variables are individual level variables,peer level variables,family level variables,and school level variables.The fourth part is an empirical analysis of the impact of children of floating population on the academic performance of local children.The empirical analysis is based on two aspects.The first is the analysis of the differences between the children of migrant children and the academic performance of local children.Based on the three different factors of the nature of the school and the family's economic level,the differences between the children of the floating population and the children's academic performance are analyzed.Secondly,the regression analysis of the influence of the children of the floating population on the academic performance of the local children is from the individual level.At the family level,school level,and peer level,a regression analysis was conducted on the academic performance of children of migrants and local children.The fifth part is the conclusion and discussion of the research,including the conclusions and research shortcomings and prospects of this study.
