Literacy teaching in lower grades is not only an important part of Chinese teaching in primary school,but also an important foundation for students to learn other subjects.Based on the cognitive characteristics of junior students,it is very important to cultivate students' initiative in learning new characters to improve students' literacy efficiency.How to improve junior students' interest and efficiency in learning Chinese characters is widely concerned by academic circles.Li Jilin is a master of situational teaching in China.She is the first to apply situational teaching in the field of literacy teaching.Situational literacy teaching provides teaching convenience for low-grade Chinese teachers who are widely troubled by literacy teaching.However,in the process of practical application of situational literacy teaching in the lower grade of primary school,there are still many problems that need to be refined and solved.In this study,through the methods of literature review,interview and questionnaire,the problems existing in the literacy teaching of lower grades were investigated and understood,such as the lack of interest and ability training in literacy teaching,the ignorance of the culture of Chinese characters in the literacy process,the emphasis on the number of literacy in teaching evaluation,etc.On the basis of understanding the existing problems,the reasons behind the problems and the necessity of situational literacy teaching in lower grades were analyzed based on the relevant cognitive learning theories and the characteristics of Chinese characters.Based on the above analysis,this study puts forward the principle of situational teaching in literacy teaching for lower grades from both in-class and out-of-class aspects,and puts forward the methods and steps of situational literacy teaching for lower grades from three aspects of in-class situation,reading situation and lifesituation.Finally,in the part of teaching examples,five typical teaching examples are selected: game situation literacy teaching,character situation literacy teaching,story situation literacy teaching,reading situation literacy teaching and life situation literacy teaching.The principles,methods and steps of implementing and deducing the low-grade literacy situation teaching are analyzed theoretically.On the basis of the existing research,this study makes a theoretical refinement and application of the situational literacy teaching in the lower grade,in order to provide some thinking directions and suggestions for solving the existing problems of literacy teaching in the lower grade.
