musical map,as a kind of teaching method which uses vision to assist hearing,is favored by many teachers in today's music teaching activities of primary and secondary schools.musical map,which presents the characteristics of various musical elements by visual graphic symbols,enables students to perceive music through vision,thus attracting students' attention,stimulating students' interest in music learning,as well as helping students to better perceive,understand and express music.Therefore,teachers should effectively use musical map and exert its potential application value,so as to improve the effect of music teaching.With the 36 classes,which use musical map,of the award-winning classes of the5 th,6th and 7th national music appraisal and election activities for primary and secondary school students as examples,this paper studies the design and application of musical map in music teaching activities.The introduction part briefly summarizes the reasons of topic selection,the current research situation,the research significance,the research methods,as well as the innovations of this paper.Then,the main body of the paper is divided into four parts.First of all,the paper explores the musical map theory of primary and secondary schools,elaborates the concept and definition of musical map,analyzes the constituent elements of musical map,and discusses the theoretical basis of applying musical map in primary and secondary schools.Secondly,the paper concludes and analyzes the design of musical map in teaching activities from the two perspectives of design type and design framework.Thirdly,the paper summarizes and analyzes the application condition of musical map in teaching activities from three aspects,namely the presentation process,presentation method and teaching method of musical map.Finally,by combining the observed and analyzed results with the theoretical knowledge of the application of musical map in the music teaching activities of primary and secondary schools,this paper sums up and concludes the application strategies of musical map in the teaching activities of primary and secondary schools: design and apply musical map on account of students' cognitive level;pay attention to students' cognitive expression incombination with the representation system theory;as well as focus on students' participation and give full play to students' main body role.
