Research On The Identity Dilemma Of Transitional Communities

Unit is an important unit in urban society during the period of planned economy in China.At that time,the unit not only played the main economic function in the city,but also assumed the responsibility of stabilizing the social development of the city.Since the reform and opening up,China has gradually carried out the reform of economic system.However,it is undeniable that under the influence of the unit system,the unit community,the product of the unit system,still exists,leaving many problems to be solved in the development.Especially for the enterprise unit community which occupies a certain proportion in urban space,it faces more challenges.In the process of unit community’s development from unit "stripping" to community "taking over",people’s identification of community also produces many new changes and characteristics.With the development of China’s economy and society,community development and community construction have become important practical issues,and the trend of atomization of community members has made it urgent to develop new community identity in line with the characteristics of The Times.By paying attention to the community identity of the enterprise unit community in the city,we can better explore the ways to solve the problems such as the gradual indifference of interpersonal communication and the bottleneck of community development in the transformation community from the perspective of identity.This research unit of large state-owned enterprises in JiangSu province L city community D as the research case,with the aid of identity theory and social identity theory and research results about the community especially units at home and abroad,through interviews and unstructured interview methods such as structure,community residents about the community identity in their own units carried on the thorough investigation.On the basis of the survey results,it is concluded that in the process of change from unit to community,the development and change characteristics of residents’ community identity.Then this paper focuses on the specific manifestation and content of the identity dilemma in the process of change,and systematically analyzes the causes of the dilemma,and finally puts forward the corresponding measures according to the theoretical guidance and the actual situation.Through the research,the author finds that in the process of unit community transformation and development,people’s identification model for communitychanges from "highly dependent model of unit" to "atomized and decentralized model",and the identification path changes from the identification based on unit memory formation to the identification based on regional relations.At the same time of mode and path transformation,it reflects the following dilemma: residents’ lack of platform to form identity,residents’ lack of content of community identity and the rupture of identity bond between residents.All this is largely due to the main body of community change,community public service system is not yet perfect,and public spirit has not yet been rebuilding in the community,so make efforts to explore the path of cultivating communities identity,through constructing identity formation of the platform,the reconstruction of community public service system and set up the new link between residents identity way to promote the formation of identity and belonging.In fact,in this paper,through the study of community recognition to cause people more attention to the problems of the unit community change,especially should attach importance to the community residents to the unit understanding and overall situation of the development of community identity in this time,to reflect on community change problem such as transition dilemma,only in this way can better explore the future of the community development model and path.
