With the development of the economy, changes in the social environment and social structure, the community as a microcosm of society has become a place of life for people. In a large city like Shanghai, the new community is constantly planning and building.People from different backgrounds come together to live together. How can we enjoy better quality of life in the community and community service is even more important. This study takes the community service of the P street in Shanghai as an example. The reason is that the P street was newly discovered in 2015.The communities in the street are mainly divided into three sections. The high-end commercial housing communities in the north and the middle are relocated from the urban areas. The Expo home community and the local residents in the south relocated the community. The three high, medium and low sections together formed the community structure of P Street. With the continuous expansion of the community scale, the population density has gradually increased and the needs of residents have become increasingly diversified. As the residents of newly built street communities adapt to the community life under the new environment, they will continue to propose higher levels.Service requirements. The establishment of the P-street is short and inexperienced. The community service is also in the initial stage of development. It will inevitably be different from other relatively mature community services. Therefore, the P-street cannot be completely copied, and adjustments must be made according to actual conditions. This study uses a combination of quantitative and qualitative research methods, mainly from the three aspects of community service supply, community service demand, service supply and demand matching to discuss the status of P-street community services.According to the survey and analysis, residents in the P-street community believe that the current community service is mainly provided by the government and the residents' committees. The neighborhood committee is a direct provider of services and acts as a “bridge” to connect the government and residentsand occupy the community service.A very important role, but still unable to meet the diverse needs of residents;the number of social organizations in the streets is small and the categories are monotonous. It is mainly cultural and voluntary organizations. The quality of service needs to be improved;some community associations are still During or just after the establishment of the establishment, residents' awareness of the subject has not yet risen, residents' participation in community services is still not high enough, and the mechanism for expressing needs needs to be improved;the number of community volunteers is small and not fixed, and community resources cannot be effectively used;Community services lack effective monitoring and management mechanisms. In a nutshell, the multiple supply system of community services still needs to be improved, the service content is not simply deep, and the needs of residents are multi-layered and individuated. However, there is no effective demand expression mechanism, service delivery and service demanders. The interaction between the two parties is not reciprocal. The demand side is in a situation of passively receiving services. The interaction between supply and demand entities does not affect the quality of community services.According to the supply and demand of P-street community service,an optimization strategy is proposed at the end of the article. The various supply entities should rationalize the division of labor to improve the welfare multiple supply service system, and broaden the expression of residents' needs so that the supply of services can be satisfied in terms of quantity, quality, and methods.
