Research On The Governance Of Cross-border Rivers Between China And Kazakhstan

With the continuous deepening of globalization,China has entered a new era.However,China has encountered many problems in advancing the diplomatic process of its neighbors,which has adversely affected China's diplomatic relations.One of the outstanding problems is the cross-border river dispute.This article starts from discussing the development and utilization of cross-border rivers in China and Kazakhstan,and analyzes the causes of cross-border river disputes between the two countries,including natural factors,economic factors,legal factors,etc.,and the universal incentives,and The impact of the "China Water Resources Threat Theory" and the differences in interests between China and Kazakhstan.Properly handling and resolving cross-border river disputes between China and Kazakhstan is of practical necessity,helps to reduce the negative factors in SinoKazakh relations,and is conducive to expanding exchanges and cooperation between the two countries.On the basis of summarizing the experience of cross-border river governance between China and Kazakhstan,this paper proposes countermeasures for the future cooperation between the two countries in view of the challenges that still exist in the cooperation process: accelerate the establishment of a cross-border river governance mechanism between China and Kazakhstan and effectively coordinate two patrs' interest and effective guarantee of legislation.
