A Study On The School Adaptation Of The Children Of Migrant Workers In The Seventh Grade

With the continuous development of economy,the process of urbanization is speeding up,a large number of migrant workers are coming into the city.They become the important part of the city.The problems on the enrollment adaptation of the migrant laborers' children are focused by the society.It is a key stage,a turning point for primary-to-secondary.All kinds of problems and maladjustment will occur to the migrant laborers' children in the seventh grade when they face the changes of the environment,the learning duties,and so on.But the researches about the enrollment adaptation of the migrant laborers' children in the seventh grade are laborers' children from primary to secondary school share fair and justice education,improve the abilities of the seventh-grade children of the migrant workers to adapt to the school,the author carried out the researches for them on the adaptation level of enrollment and the affected factors to enrollment adaptation.To conduct this research,the author selected the seventh-grade students in a school of the Gangzha District in Nantong City,by applying the "Teacher-student rating scale" and "parents' participation in children school readiness questionnaire".The materials were collected through literature reference,interviews,and so on.The researcher analyzed the level and affected factors on the enrollment adaptation of the seventh-grade migrant students,provided the strategies to improve the abilities on enrollment adaptation.The research shows:1.The adaptation level of the seventh-grade children is below the average,it is the most difficult to adapt on the assertiveness.2.The seventh-grade migrant laborers' children and local students in the similar difficulties on the adaptation have not significant difference.3.The higher the level of the migrant parental participation in seventh-grade children is,the better the situation of the children enrollment adaptation is.The affection from the mothers'education experiences is related to the childinadequate and lack of systematicness.In order to make more and more migrant ren' enrollment adaptation.The abilities of the seventh-grade migrant laborers' children on the enrollment adaptation are influenced by the society,the family,the school and individuals'factors.The education rights of the seventh-grade migrant laborers' children should be guaranteed according to the laws and institutions of the country;the community should provide the effective education support for the seventh-grade migrant laborers'children;the parents should enhance their cultural literacy,grasp the valid educational ideas,create the harmonious family environment and the cozy learning space;the primary school and the secondary school should strengthen the construction in the aspects of the infrastructure and the culture,provide a communicative platform for the teachers from the primary school and the secondary school,the course of teachers based on the students' lives should guide students scientific learning strategies;the seventh-grade migrant laborers' children should adjust the habits to adapt to the studies and lives,increase the self-study ability,then realize the healthy development,harmonious development.The enrollment adaptation of the seventh-grade laborers' children is in influence from the environmental factors and the individuals.The efforts from the school,the society and the family could change the adaptation abilities of the seventh-grade migrant laborers' children,the seventh-grade migrant laborers' children should actively adapt to the society,the school and the environment of the family as well,achieve the pleasant development as quickly as possible and as well as possible.
