Since the reform and opening up,China's market economy has been in continuous development,and private companies have been making great progress.With the rapid development of companies and changes in the external business environment such as the spread of the global economic crisis and China's new policies,the labour relations in companies are also becoming increasingly tense.Various types of large-scale,far-reaching strikes and collective conflicts have emerged one after another,becoming one of the crucial factors that hinder the further growth and development of companies.The establishment of a harmonious labour relation not only affects the employee-employer relation,but also has fundamental economic,political,and social implications.This research first introduces the research background,research significance,research scale and methodology,defines the concept of labour relation,labour conflicts and harmonious labour relation,analyses the status quo of research at home and abroad,and elaborates the main theoretical basis of this study,including the Dunlop's System Theory and Sandver's theoretical model.Based on that this study will investigate the current labour relations,taking A Company in Yangzhou as an example,summarises the phenomena of inharmonious labour relations in this company,and analyses the reasons behind.There will be in-depth discussions and research on the establishment of harmonious labour relations,after studying experiences of governments of western countries and Chinese companies.It will be proposed that the establishment of harmonious labour relations in A Company may rely on the supervision by the local government,a better adaptation to external environment,the reinforcement of management,a strengthened organisational role played by the Union,the enhancement of employees' rights protection strategies,etc.,and relevant suggestions will be given.In the end there will be an analysis of the shortcomings in this study and the future research prospects,and a study on the phenomenon of unbalanced labour relations in the new era,the causes of the imbalances of labour relations,and the solutions.Constituting a new type of labour-management relationship that meets the requirements of the new era will provide a certain reference for the solution to the problem of A Company,as well as of other companies,especially those in the same category,which is of great theoretical and practical significance.
