| After reform and opening up,my country’s economy has risen rapidly. With the progress of society and the improvement of people’s living standards,my country’s economic development has ushered in new challenges. The gap between urban and rural development has gradually widened, and the problem of urban-rural dual structure has become increasingly prominent. The issue of the gap between the rich and the poor and the uncoordinated and unbalanced regional development has become a stumbling block on the road to building a strong socialist country in my country. As of 2017,the No.1 document of the Central Committee has focused on the issue of “agriculture, rural areas and farmers” for 14 consecutive years. This shows that the party and the state attach great importance to the economic development of rural areas. In recent years, the proportion of my country’s fiscal expenditure for agricultural expenditure has increased year by year, while the urbanization rate has continued to increase. As of 2019,my country’s urbanization rate has exceeded 60%for the first time.Compared with 2011,in 2019,the Engel coefficient ratio of urban and rural residents increased by 0.02,and the urban-rural dual contrast coefficient increased by 0.04,indicating that the overall urban-rural gap has been narrowing.Based on the relevant strategic goals of rural revitalization and overall planning of regional development proposed in the report of the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, this article explores the mechanism and degree of influence of rural public investment on the level of urban-rural integration in my country. This article first uses the literature analysis method to summarize the previous studies on rural public investment and urban-rural integration, and uses qualitative analysis to discuss the impact mechanism of rural public investment on the level of urban-rural integration.Through collecting data,a simple mathematical statistical analysis of my country’s rural public investment and urban-rural integration from 2011 to 2019 has found that my country’s rural public investment has certain problems in the spatial layout and capital ratio, which leads to inefficiency. As a complex and abstract project,urban-rural integration covers a wide range and involves all aspects of urban and rural life.In order to facilitate research,it needs to be further quantified. On the basis of combing and summarizing the relevant literature, this paper selects seven variables as the representative variables of urban-rural integration, and uses the method of principal component analysis to extract two principal components from these seven indicators, namely, urban and rural areas. The difference index and the urban-rural development index are weighted and calculated to arrive at the 2011-2019 urban-rural integration level index in my country. Finally,my country’s national per capita rural public expenditure from 2011 to 2019 is used as the characterization variable of rural public investment, and at the same time as an explanatory variable, with non-agricultural tendency as the control variable to characterize the impact of industrialization on urban-rural integration, which is compared with the urban-rural integration index.Correlation analysis shows that the correlation between the two is as high as 96%,and then using regression analysis, the influence coefficient between the two is obtained. The conclusion is:China’s rural public investment has a strong correlation and a significant degree of influence on the level of urban-rural integration.Increasing the intensity of rural public investment will help promote the construction of urban-rural integration. In addition, the proportion of funds should be rationally planned according to the development differences between different regions. For rural areas with relatively backward development, such as northwestern my country, capital investment in infrastructure construction should be increased, that is,the proportion of fixed assets should be increased; When investing in rural areas during the transition period of traditional industries, the proportion of their education expenditures should be increased. |
