With the deepening of the reform of the national public security system,the public security departments in various regions pay more attention to not only the administrative indicators such as "the rate of solving cases","the number of cases",but also the management and construction of the police force.Performance management,as a powerful grasp of the management and construction of the public security team,should also give full play to its due intentions and be paid attention to,which is of great significance to the promotion of the enthusiasm and efficiency of the work of all the police.Forest public security,as a part of public security organs,also faces many new opportunities and challenges.In recent years,forest public security has gradually connected with the various business ports of the public security department,and has made great progress in business.However,there is still a gap in performance management level,and there are many problems exposed in performance management.Therefore,the improvement of performance management level also meets the requirements of the normalization,modernization and institutionalization of forest public security team.This paper takes A branch of Jilin Forest Public Security Bureau as the research background.In the process of research,the author studied the excellent practices of performance management of public security organs at home and abroad,and respectively elaborated the related concepts involved in this paper,guided by the theories of "management by objectives","expectation theory" and "equity theory",combined with the actual work and performance management status of A branch of Jilin Forest Public Security Bureau,this paper deeply analyzes the problems existing in the performance management of A branch of Jilin Forest Public Security Bureau,and analyzes the causes of the problems,and puts forward some measures to improve the understanding of performance management,clarify the performance management objectives,improve the performance management system,and increase relevant supporting measures,it is suggested to enrich the main body of performance appraisal,scientifically set the appraisal index,strengthen the communication of performance management and strengthen the application of performance results.I hope this study can also provide reference for other public security organs to carry out performance management,in order to effectively improve the performance of the police.
