| Geographic information technology is an important teaching tool for middle school geography teaching in the new era,and its application to middle school geography teaching has unique geographical significance.Night lighting data is a new application data of geographic information technology,and it is used as a resource for assisting geography teaching in middle school geography classrooms.It can not only meet the development needs of geography classrooms in the new era,but also help to cultivate the core literacy of students.However,teaching practice found that when teachers use geographic information technology to assist middle school geography teaching,due to insufficient ability to assist geographic information technology teaching,it is difficult to better use geographic information technology to assist middle school geography teaching,and existing research lacks geographic information technology.The detailed application and operation of auxiliary teaching introduces that the teaching effect is not ideal.Therefore,this article uses data statistics method,GIS assisted teaching method,case teaching method and questionnaire survey method to explore the educational value of night lighting data-assisted "urbanization" teaching based on geographic information technology,and selects the applicable case area of night lighting data-assisted teaching,Combing the application steps of night lighting data-assisted "urbanization" teaching,developing resources for night lighting dataassisted "urbanization" teaching and developing typical case teaching design,in order to improve the teaching of night lighting data-assisted "urbanization" teaching The effect provides a reference.The main research contents and conclusions are as follows:(1)The educational value of night lighting data to assist the teaching of "urbanization".In the context of the new curriculum,the use of night lighting data to assist "urbanization" teaching can cultivate students’ core qualities such as regional cognition,comprehensive thinking and geographic practicality.(2)The selection of suitable case areas for "urbanization" teaching aided by night lighting data.By calculating the correlation between the night light value of each geographic unit and the urbanization rate,urban population and other indicators,a case area suitable for night light data to assist "urbanization" teaching can be selected.The results show that in the economically developed and relatively homogeneous terrain,the night light data is relatively consistent with the urbanization level characteristics,and it can be used as a case area for the night light data to assist the "urbanization" teaching.In areas with less developed economy and strong terrain heterogeneity,night lighting data does not reflect urbanization adequately,and it is not suitable as a case area for night lighting data to assist the teaching of "urbanization".(3)Sort out the application steps of night lighting data to assist the teaching of "urbanization".Using the basic functions of ArcGIS software and SPSS software,it can meet the operation of various teaching needs of night lighting data in "urbanization" teaching,which helps to reduce the difficulty of first-line geography teachers using night lighting data to assist teaching.(4)“Urbanization” teaching curriculum resource development and typical case teaching design based on night lighting data.In the practice of curriculum resource development,we can follow the principles of the times,economy and geography,and develop "urbanization" teaching curriculum resources of night lighting data from three perspectives: population urbanization,economic urbanization and regional urbanization.In the practice of instructional design,on the basis of following the requirements of curriculum standards,we can give full play to the advantages of geographic information technology,resolutely implement the educational function of "urbanization" teaching of night lighting data,and design the relevant teaching content to cultivate the core literacy of students.(5)Problems and suggestions of night lighting data assisting "urbanization" teaching.At present,the use of night light data to assist teaching has problems such as insufficient teaching hardware facilities in schools,shortage of teachers’ geographic information technology,and insufficient teachers’ ability to identify teaching case areas.In view of the existing problems,suggestions were made to improve the geographic information technology operation skills of geography teachers,develop and establish a simple operation manual for geographic information technology,select case areas according to local conditions,and carry out teaching according to course system,etc.Provide reference for the difficulty of night-time lighting data assisted teaching. |
