By integrating theory and practice,case teaching method presents relevant teaching cases,and leads students to actively participate in analysis and discussion.Its effective use in the high school politics class Economic Life not only meets the requirements of the new curriculum and the needs of students' comprehensive development,but also helps promote the active innovation of teaching methods of Civic Science teachers.This paper explores the necessity of using the case teaching method in the high school politics class Economic Life,the problems in its application and the corresponding solutions to the problems.Based on this,this paper unfolds mainly from the following five aspects.The first part illustrates the background from the perspectives of basic education development,professional field development and personal research interests.It discusses the theoretical and practical significance of the application of the case teaching method in the high school politics class.It analyses the current situation in domestic and foreign research,the research ideas and the research methods as well as the innovation points and shortcomings of the paper.It is expected to lay the foundation for specific application of the case teaching method in the high school politics class Economic Life.The second part is about the concepts related to the case teaching method and the necessity of its application in the high school politics class.It is a teaching method popularized in the education field.The application of the case teaching method is featured by the combination of content and characteristics of the textbook.This method selects the relevant cases in line with the content of the textbook,so as to stimulate students' interest in learning.It not only contributes to an active participation in discussing,analyzing and solving problems,but also enhances the understanding and mastery of knowledge,and students' comprehensive ability.The third part discusses the specific implementation of the case teaching method in“Economic Life” from case selection and presentation.It includes three sectors: the pre-course preparation,classroom implementation,and the summary and evaluation of cases.The fourth part analyzes the effect of case teaching method observed through educational internship,and the advantages and shortcomings of case teaching method obtained through questionnaire and data analysis.The fifth part is the focus of the paper.On the basis of actual use of cases in the classroom during the educational internship process and the results of questionnaire analysis,this part discusses the problems identified in this process and proposes corresponding solutions.
