As the dominant text of Chinese textbooks,the importance of modern and contempo rary prose teaching can be seen.However,there are some problems in prose teaching,such as insufficient focus on teaching content,urgent need to enrich teaching methods,and low participation of students.If things continue this way,it is easy to lead to the decline of students' interest in prose learning.In view of these problems,on the basis of consulting the existing research results,this topic proposes to reasonably introduce the "task driven method" into prose teaching,in order to give better play to students' subjectivity and stimulate classroom vitality.In addition to the "Introduction",the main body of the paper is divided into four chapters:The first chapter explores the theoretical basis of task-driven method from three aspects.Firstly,it defines the concepts of prose and task-driven method.Secondly,contact the relevant theories of task driven method,including constructivism theory and learning motivation theory.Finally,it combs the compilation idea of the unified edition of teaching materials and the characteristics of prose arrangement.The following conclusions are summarized:The number of modern and contemporary prose is relatively high,among which narrative prose is the most,discussion prose is the least;In terms of theme,it is all inclusive.The second chapter is the investigation of modern and contemporary prose teaching in junior middle school.The students and teachers of a school were selected as the survey objects for questionnaire survey and interview respectively.After collecting data and analyzing the current situation of modern and contemporary prose teaching in the school,it is concluded that there are some problems,such as unclear task setting,situation creation in a mere formality,lack of cooperative exploration atmosphere and so on.The reasons for the problems can be attributed to the following two aspects:Students' learning motivation is single and their learning interest needs to be stimulated;Teachers' teaching ideas need to be updated.The third chapter is the implementation strategy of task driven method in modern and contemporary prose teaching.This chapter takes the modern and contemporary prose in the "unified edition" textbook as an example to analyze the task driven instructional design.Firstly,it introduces the application principles of task-based teaching method.Then,it discusses the design idea of task driven teaching method from four aspects:Based on prose genre,reasonably create tasks;Create teaching situations and show classroom tasks;Implement task driven and effective cooperation and exchange;Point to the task process and realize scientific evaluation.The above design process is of positive significance to promote the organic integration of task driven and prose teaching,and also provides important ideas for the follow-up case design.The fourth chapter is the case design and reflection of task driven teaching method in prose teaching.According to the characteristics and ideas of prose arrangement in the unified edition of teaching materials.Aiming at the problems in modern and contemporary prose teaching,This chapter designs and implements two teaching cases,the first case is " the memory of autumn" and the second case is "a little peach tree".It covers two types of courses: self reading course and teaching reading course.Finally,teaching reflection is carried out according to the classroom teaching results and after-school interviews,It is found that there are some problems in task design,such as group allocation needs to be improved,teacher guidance needs to be improved,and teaching evaluation is not comprehensive enough.
