The rapid development of society has increasingly higher requirements for talent cultivation, requiring talents with comprehensive qualities.Cross disciplinary integrated teaching can break traditional teaching models, cultivate students’ comprehensive thinking abilities, and promote comprehensive development. On the basis of reading a large amount of interdisciplinary teaching materials, this article elaborates on the necessity and significance of interdisciplinary integrated teaching, summarizes and organizes the knowledge of other disciplines involved in the "Outline of Chinese and Foreign History(Part 2)",and highlights the necessity and importance of interdisciplinary teaching.By using questionnaire surveys and teacher interviews for data collection, teachers and students’ understanding and application of interdisciplinary knowledge are grasped,After research and analysis,it has been found that there are shortcomings in this regard among students, teachers, and schools.Based on the current situation, specific strategies are mainly proposed for three main bodies:students, teachers, and schools.Students should enhance their initiative in learning, enhance their proficiency in knowledge mastery, and enhance their ability to transfer knowledge;Teachers should extensively explore knowledge of other historical disciplines, grasp the depth of integrated teaching, and try various teaching types;Schools should carry out teacher exchange activities, optimize resource allocation, and conduct reasonable teaching evaluations. It is hoped that these specific strategies can provide methodological references for future interdisciplinary teaching research.
